The Escrow Association of Washington has produced the Escrow I Manual, a textbook that can be used either in a formal classroom setting or for self-study. The focus of the book is study material for the beginning practitioner, and several community colleges use the book for their Escrow I classes. The book contains information on the laws regulating the practice of escrow in Washington, clearing title reports, ordering payoffs, pro-rations, closing statements and beginning closing transactions.
